In his opinion on the merits, the public prosecutor stated that the defendant was caught by police teams in the Fevzipaşa neighborhood of the central Seyhan district at night selling drugs hidden in a cigarette package. The prosecutor requested that the crime and arrest report and the defendant's criminal record for similar crimes, taking into account the fact that he be sentenced for "trafficking or supplying drugs or stimulants" and that his detention be continued. A.Ş., who did not accept the charges against him, said, "I did not sell drugs to anyone. I reject the opinion. I demand my release and acquittal."
