Erbaş said that the conditions have been made suitable for disabled people to easily access mosques and courses, and said: "We organize courses where they can read the Holy Quran and gain the knowledge and skills required for worship. We attach importance to the training of our officers to be employed in this field. We carry out training activities for our staff. In order to improve the standards of educational activities, we prepare various course materials with an approach that takes into account the interests, needs, expectations and characteristics of disabled people." Around 1000-1500 hearing-impaired citizens receive religious education Erbaş said that approximately 1000-1500 hearing-impaired citizens receive religious education every year in the Qur'an course classes created for disabled individuals. Erbaş stated that one of the service areas for disabled citizens is publishing, and in this context, they have prepared the 'Current Turkish Sign Language Religious Concepts Dictionary'. "Our disabled brothers and sisters will have access to the videos of the concepts in the dictionary" Pointing out that an up-to-date dictionary is needed for a better understanding of the curriculum, Erbaş said: "The 'Dictionary of Sign Language Religious Concepts', which was published by our Presidency in 2013, has been updated and reprinted with great efforts. It is a valuable work prepared with a simple language that will appeal to the mental worlds of the hearing impaired. In addition, a website called engelsiz.diyanet.gov.tr has been prepared. Our disabled brothers and sisters will be able to access the videos of the concepts in the dictionary from here."
