Explaining that the hospital was established on an area of 280 thousand square meters and had a capacity of 900 beds, Karaismailoğlu said: "We have based our infrastructure works on 1500 bed capacity. In other words, it will be able to reach a capacity of 1500 beds at any time. As a result of the feasibility studies, there will be a 181-bed general hospital, a 146-bed Maternity Hospital, a 161-bed KVC Hospital and a 151-bed Oncology Hospital in line with the needs determined specifically for the region it will serve. The hospital will have 33 operating rooms and 265-bed intensive care units. Trabzon City Hospital will be the health center of our region." "The hospital will have 762 seismic isolators at its core" Minister Karaismailoğlu, pointing out that the hospital will also have a parking lot for 2,500 vehicles, stated that Trabzon City Hospital is designed with seismic insulators and that there will be basically 762 seismic isolators. Underlining that the work on the city hospital continues rapidly, Karaismailoğlu pointed out that the City Hospital is aimed to be put into service on February 22, 2025.
