Mersin Yenisehir Municipality Provides Drone Training in 18 High Schools 405 students who participated in the drone trainings given by Mersin Yenişehir Municipality in 18 high schools in the district received their certificates. Earthquake victim students also benefited from Yenişehir Municipality's drone trainings. Yenişehir Municipality aims to encourage scientific thinking while helping children develop their personal skills, problem-solving abilities and teamwork through educational activities. In the drone trainings initiated in this context; High school students were enlightened about unmanned aerial vehicles, aviation rules, flight principles, meteorology, air traffic, control system, device maintenance and repair.18 405 students in high school successfully completed their education and were entitled to receive certificates. Students who came to Mersin from the earthquake region and continued their education also had the opportunity to benefit from the trainings. The students, who completed their education at the ceremony held at the Yenişehir Municipality Atatürk Cultural Center, received their certificates from Yenişehir Deputy Mayor Özgür Emire, Mersin Internet Journalists Association President Vahap Şehitoğlu, Yenişehir Muhtarlar Association President Giray Atilla, Yenişehir Municipality Cultural Affairs Director Deniz Özen and instructor Erdal Sağlam.
