Broken Washing Machine Causes Fire in the House There were strange strange noises coming from the washing machine we had been using at home for more than a week. Despite this, the washing machine was doing our laundry. On one such day, my wife, who added dirty laundry to the washing machine, started the machine. We left the house until we got back home with the washing machine laundry. When we got home about 3 hours later, we noticed that the electrical wires were burning. When we could not put out the fire despite all our efforts, a fire broke out in our house.
