The teams of the Provincial Gendarmerie Command started to work to apprehend 6 suspects who were found to have looted Iraqi nationals in the vehicles they stopped by posing as gendarmes with the military uniforms they wore on the Kızıltepe-Viranşehir D-400 highway on the Kızıltepe-Viranşehir D-400 highway on May 30-9. In the operation carried out by the JASAT teams of the Provincial Gendarmerie Command, 6 suspects were taken into custody. The operation seized weapons, military camouflage, reflectors, strobe lamps, a large number of digital materials and money belonging to Iraqi citizens that were considered to have been used in the incident. In addition, during the search of the addresses of the suspects, the tractor, which was determined to have been stolen from the Kızıltepe district in previous years, was seized.
