The incident took place yesterday evening in Buca Şirinyer Park in İnkılap Neighborhood. Allegedly, a fight broke out between the two groups in the park for reasons yet to be determined. As the fight escalated, 17-year-old İbrahim Akgül was seriously injured by 8 stab wounds to his body by the person or persons. Police and 112 Emergency Medical teams were dispatched to the address following a tip-off from citizens in the surrounding area. Akgül was taken to an ambulance by the medical teams who came to the scene and was taken to Buca Seyfi Demirsoy Training and Research Hospital. The 17-year-old youth could not be saved despite all the interventions made here and lost his life. On the other hand, Akgül's lifeless body was taken to the Izmir Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue after the prosecutor's examination. 2 suspects, M.A. and A.E., were taken into custody by police teams in connection with the incident.
