Izmir Provincial Security Directorate teams carried out 195 operations between 7-20 May 2023 within the scope of the fight against drugs. During the searches, 16 kilograms of 95 grams of marijuana, 2 kilograms of 53 grams of synthetic drugs, 332 root cannabis plants, 338 drug pills, 11 thousand 360 synthetic pharmaceuticals, 16 precision scales, 10 pistols, 4 rifles and 149 cartridges belonging to weapons were seized. 393 thousand 805 liras, which were considered to have been disposed of for the crime, were confiscated. 384 suspects were detained in the operations. Of the suspects referred to the courthouse, 315 were arrested by the magistrate's office.
